Have you gone on a few dates with this really cool guy and you're beginning to wonder if he loves you or not? Is he really nice and affectionate, but you don't know if his emotions run deep? Have past relationship never made it past this starting point and you're afraid to make a move? Men show their love in various ways. Here's what to look out for.

When a man is interested in a woman, he's interested in pleasing her. He wants to show her that her happiness is important to him. If your guy is planning every date based on what he enjoys doing and he is blatantly ignoring the things that please you, you may either be with an extraordinarily selfish guy or simply with a guy who doesn't love you enough to please you.

You should also look at the level of admiration he has for you. If he's really interested in you, chances are there are qualities you have that appeal to him. He'll readily share with you his admiration for the woman you are. If he puts you down, and refuses to show even an ounce of support when you mention a new project, he's probably not interested enough.

And if you should happen to stumble and need his help and he ignores you, know that the situation is not going to get better with time.

Finally, look at his capacity to commit, even in a small way, to you. The guy who is still dating other women is not yet sure you're the one. The guy who isn't willing to offer you a key to his place after months of dating is still reluctant to really open himself up to you.

When a guy falls hard for a woman, he wants her to know that his heart is open and that he is ready to let her in. It may come slow and it may come small, but he will show signs of wanting to commit to you.
