And while you're not trying too hard, this means that you'll be more apt to allow him to set the pace. Don't jump ahead of him and try to lead him along to the path of commitment that you're dreaming of. Let him take his time if he needs it.
So long as the dates are fun and he's learning so much about you, he'll continue to become more and more interested. Be a friend and the one he wants to confide in when he needs to talk.
