Online Dating and dating services have become widely popular and acceptable that even a big newspapers like The Washington Post jumps onto the band wagon.
The Washington Post dedicates a sizable portion of its space to a Dating, Love, and Relationship tips to a dating expert, Andrea Syrtash, author of "He's Just Not Your Type (And That's a Good Thing)." Dating has become an acceptable topic for serious papers. The allure of this attractive topic makes it a big selling point. Love always sells. Sex always sells. We all know that, it's an old hat. Yet we like to peep into other people's lives and see how they do it. The whole relationship thing is a never ending source of human interest, the sassier the better. Think Tiger Woods! Since relationships have a tendency to break up,peole get divorced or die; there are new possible partners to go round like pawns in a game of life, ready for more action.
Syrtash is a regular advice columnist and contributor to Yahoo!, The Huffington Post and Oprah.com. For more tips, marital and relationship advice and to see how other couples have gotten to the altar, visit their On Love section. It reminds me of my heydays as a matchmaker in Ireland at the beginning of the new millennium, where I broke a lot of ground in Ireland by making dating acceptable to be talked about in the public domain. To be interviewed by the Sunday Business Post or Irish Times, what a triumph that was in those days. Dating guru for the Washington Post? Now that's a job I wouldn't turn down.
