Make Him Fall in Love - Understand How the Modern Man Thinks

What does it take to make the modern man fall in love? Is the contemporary male so much different from men of recent generations? Should you try to be the kind of woman your mother and grandmother were when they were dating? Should you follow traditional or modern dating advice if you want to make a man fall in love?

To clear things up right from the start, the contemporary dating world is vastly different from the days when our parents were doing the dating thing. Their concept was pretty well-defined and structured along the lines that the woman was submissive and the man was in total control. A great catch for a man was a woman that could keep a clean house and raise the kids, while a woman did well for herself by hooking a guy that provided a nice income for the family.

This notion seems so ancient today as these qualities rank much lower on the scale of desirable traits for a partner. What a woman needs to make a man fall in love today is more of a mental or emotional approach to relationships. Because men and women today are more equal in financial contributions and in sharing household tasks for the family, attracting a man relies more on understanding the male psyche.

Women need to decipher what men want emotionally from them if they want to work on building a strong relationship. The reality is that men today want a woman that is independent, self-sufficient, and secure in the woman that she has worked to become. They love a woman that is confident and supportive, and these men are more than willing to provide their support in return.

Basically, men want a partner that they can depend on while still feeling that she needs him in a manly sort of way. Let him fix the leaky faucet, solicit his help in moving the furniture around, and show him how much you would appreciate it if he would bring the boxes up to the attic. Then let him know how "manly" he is and that you would be lost without him. Boost his masculine ego and it will be a cinch to make him fall in love.

The Modern Way to Find Love

The phenomenon of online dating started several years ago, but these early dating sites were viewed with suspicion, and often deemed to be populated with nerds, geeks, weirdos or people whose motives were less than honourable.

However that is no longer the case. The stigma attached to online dating services, the notion that it is for people who cannot form relationships any other way is long gone. In part this was due to the fact that in those early days the internet was still a relatively new technology and access was nowhere near as wide spread as it is today. However times have moved on and we now live in a world where in the developed, industrial nations the majority of the population now has access to the internet in some form. This huge increase in access to the internet and the increasing use of online communication has totally changed the landscape. People have become comfortable with the technology and learned how to use it in the modern world. Consequently online dating has gone main stream and is not only acceptable, but is increasingly becoming the norm. Online dating is becoming the means by which a large and growing proportion of people of all ages start new relationships, and not just romantic relationships but also increasingly friendship too.

Let's face it, everyone is busy these days. The time we have for enjoying life and building relationships is important and valuable to us all. The old fashioned ways in which people met just aren't very practical today. Flirting with people in bars and clubs is just too hit and miss and all to often the old maxim that you have to kiss a lot of frogs to find your prince proves to be true. So what about someone at work? Well yet again not without problems, the biggest of which are the problems that can arise if things don't work out.

For many singles online dating provides an opportunity to look at a much bigger pool of potential friends or partners. Whilst no one can say that there wont be some frogs, you do at least have the opportunity to filter them out and find people who share your values and your interests. The process can start from the comfort of your own home and initial contact and exchanges can be kept at a safe distance until you feel comfortable and confident that you have found a suitable contender for your affections.

The internet has brought us enormous benefits in terms of time and money saved, new products and services tried for a whole range of things we deal with everyday. We buy insurance online, we bank online, we shop online, we chat online and we share our experiences with friends and family only. When looked at in this light it comes as no surprise that so many people now look for love and friendship dating online.

Make Your Man Fall in Love, the Modern Way

Can you make a man fall in love at the drop of a hat? Are you aware that the dating laws you are used to following might not work any longer? Would you like to learn the new set of rules for attracting men? The way that men and women seek each other out is changing, as are the rules that govern these interactions. Most women are familiar with the book Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus by Dr. Gray. It shows you how men's minds differ from those of women and how to bridge the gap. You must understand something about male psychology if you want to make your man fall in love with you and keep him that way.

Women love to talk, to meet people, and to share secrets with one another. Men are equally social, but they are much more cautious about exposing their thoughts and feelings to others. Because of these differences, women are often quicker to form a deep emotional attachment-or fall in love, in other words-than men. Sometimes men spend much longer in the getting-to-know-you phase of a relationship than necessary. Either they feel they are not yet ready to move to the next stage of the relationship, or they are simply slow to feel comfortable in your presence. Whatever their motivation for lagging behind, men will eventually catch up their female companions and begin to have feelings of love. And when this happens, there is little you can do to turn off his affections.

There used to exist a very strict set of laws that told men what to look for in a woman. They also told women how to make themselves attractive to available men. There was very little confusion about what made a good woman. Today, however, women face a much more complicated dating system. Men no longer adhere to a set of societal rules when they pick a potential mate. Instead, they rely on their personal tastes. No doubt this is a better, healthier way to choose the person you want to spend your life with, but it does leave women with a more difficult task.

The modern woman can't simply churn out a bunch of needlepoint pieces and hope the men notice how talented she is. Her housekeeping skills don't come into question when a guy scopes her out in a bar. Even her ability to cook won't win her a man, although it might earn a point or two in her favor. Today's "empowered" woman must learn how to attract a man without scaring him away.

One reason that women today have such a hard time hooking a guy and maintaining his interest is that our growing power in society has left lots of men feeling unneeded or emasculated. While it's great to be a powerful career woman, you can't take the same tactics with a guy you'd like to date that you would with your boss or co-worker. You must learn to take a more passive role in the dating game if you want the men to come to you.

This might be hard for a generation that has been taught to dive in and compete with the men on their own turf, but it will give him the confidence he needs to pursue you. Those tricks for attracting a potential husband that you learned from your mother or grandmother have sustained the human race for thousands of years. In some ways they are no longer relevant, but you can still use them to improve your love live. For instance, women were always expected to present their skills and remain otherwise passive. Cooking, sewing, being a good hostess...these are all things you would do in the hope that a man would pass by and notice. Granted, that particular approach probably won't work for you today. But showing off your assets and allowing the men to come to you is still the best way to score a boyfriend.

Let him take the initiative. This feeds the male ego by making him feel in control. He is animalistic in nature, and he needs to feel as if he's in pursuit of something elusive. Present yourself to your best advantage and let him make the first (and second, and third) move.

Don't apply any pressure. Allow him to move at his own pace, or he will get spooked and drop off the face of the earth. If you want to keep him in your life, let him take his time wooing you.

Don't go too far! Nothing will make a guy feel smothered more than a woman who drops the "L" bomb too early in the relationship, hints that you should move in together, or brings up marriage or children. Unless you've already got kids, leave the baby talk alone. Also, since men tend to develop true feelings like love a little slower than women, you don't want to spill the beans about your affections until you know he returns the sentiment.

The idea that men don't fall in love as easily as women is both true and false. It's true that men take longer to reach the point of no return, where they are hopelessly and irrevocably in love. However, it's not true that men are incapable of falling truly in love with a woman, or that they fall out of love more readily. They are simply different in their approach to falling in love, which is a good reason to let him initiate changes in your relationship.

Try not to look too far ahead. Men think more about what's happening to them at the moment than what might happen in the future. They have fun and don't worry about where the relationship is heading. To make your man fall in love with you, you have to learn how to have fun and enjoy the moment instead of worrying about what's to come.
